How is this different from the Plate Weight Calculator?
This calculator assumes a solid box with three substantial dimensions, length, width, and height. The Plate Weight Calculator assumes a thin flat sheet, where thickness is much smaller than length and width. The underlying math is the same, but the calculators are set up for these two different real shapes.
Does this account for a hollow box?
No, this calculates the weight of a fully solid rectangular cuboid. A hollow box would weigh less.
What density should I use?
