How is year-over-year growth calculated?
YoY % Change = (Final Year Value - Initial Year Value) / Initial Year Value x 100. When comparing across more than one year, the Annualized Growth Rate applies the standard CAGR formula instead.
How is this different from Week-over-Week Growth?
Both use the same percentage-change formula, just at different cadences (year vs. week). This calculator additionally supports a multi-year annualized rate, since year-over-year comparisons more often span several years.
