Frequently Asked Questions

How is wheel RPM calculated?

Wheel RPM = (Vehicle Speed x 63,360) / (Tire Diameter x Pi x 60), converting miles per hour into wheel rotations per minute using the rolling circumference of the tire. Engine RPM is then Wheel RPM multiplied by the transmission and final drive ratio.
