How is trapezoid perimeter calculated?
Simply the sum of all four sides, the two parallel bases plus the two legs.
What if I only know the bases, height, and one leg angle?
The missing leg can be found using right-triangle trigonometry: the horizontal offset between the bases, divided by the cosine of the leg's angle from horizontal, gives that leg's length, which can then be added to this calculator.
Does perimeter depend on the trapezoid's height?
Not directly, perimeter only depends on the four actual side lengths. Two trapezoids with the same four side lengths always have the same perimeter, even if arranged into slightly different shapes, though a simple trapezoid with fixed side lengths generally has an essentially fixed shape and height too.
